ESN VU Amsterdam Spring Contest

General Information

Participation

  • You need to be a VU student and have proof of enrolment for verification.
  • You need to have a valid ESN membership.

Registration

  • Fill out the registration form.
  • Submit your ESN card number at the moment of registration.
  • You can submit your proof of enrollment at any point in the competition.
    Please note:You cannot receive any prizes until your enrollment has been verified!
  • You will get a free merch item of choice (as long as stock allows).
  • A designated spreadsheet will keep track of participants.

Information required for registration

  • Full name
  • Email
  • Phone (optional, but enhances our ability to reach out to you if you win a prize)
  • Instagram (optional, but highly recommended so we can tag you in our posts!)
  • Degree
  • Nationality
  • Date of birth
  • ESN card number
  • Accept data protection statement
  • Accept terms and conditions

After registration, you will receive a confirmation email with your unique participation number.

Point system

  • Each activity has a certain amount of points allocated that you can receive.
  • The number of points is based on different factors such as difficulty, time invested, win/lose, etc.
  • For events:
    • You receive 100 participation points for all events you attend.
    • For winning an event, you can receive the following points in addition to the participation points
      • 1st place: +100 points
      • 2nd place: +50 points
      • 3rd place: +25 points
  • For the Crazy88:
    • You can receive points for completing Crazy88 challenges

  • You can receive extra points at the end of each period if you get a final course grade equal to or higher than an 8 (from Period 4 onwards).
  • Interested in becoming part of ESN VU Amsterdam? You can also get extra points by applying for the new ESN board!

Prizes

  • There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, each with an assigned prize.
  • The prizes will be delivered to the winner when the contest has finished.
  • Winners will be announced on our social media and contacted by email/phone.
  • In the event of a tie, winner(s) will be selected through a raffle of tied participants.

Other

To enter the contest, you must be an enrolled student of the VU Amsterdam and a member of ESN VU Amsterdam.
